Be-Mobile is a European market leader in smart mobility solutions, headquartered in Ghent. We develop and sell technological solutions for electronic toll collection, multi-modal route planning and electronic fare collection. We also offer advanced solutions to measure and manage the traffic flows to put travelers, cities, road authorities, parking operators and logistic companies in control over their mobility processes. 

To strengthen our team, Be-Mobile is looking for a customer support to work from our headquarters in Brussels or Ghent. 

As a customer support you provide first line support on our mobility payment platform (branded 4411 & Flitsmeister). Doing so, you maintain the world’s easiest mean of safe mobile payment, which is live in 200 cities and municipalities. 

As a passionate customer support, you:

  • Provide first line support to our clients (mainly local governments) and end-users answering their questions and troubleshooting their issues.
  • Administrate payments, adjusting in incomplete or erroneous payments.
  • Work with our team of traffic editors based in Brussels. During holiday periods, you support this team by taking incoming calls, processing incoming reports, entering accidents, incidents and speed checks in our traffic platform and monitoring the quality of our traffic information. In addition, you also help create traffic bulletins that are sent to the various VRT studios to be read out on the radio.
  • Flexible, as you will be working in a shift system when supporting the VRT team. Otherwise you work from Monday until Friday.
  • You are eager to continuously improve quality, service and client satisfaction.
  • Can work from our offices from Brussel (VRT control tower) or from the headquarters in Melle, depending on your location. 

Job requirements

The skills that make a great customer support colleague are:

  • Experience in a customer support function, preferably within a technical (software) environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch. French is a strong plus.
  • Client oriented, focused on client satisfaction and improvement of service
  • Efficient and focused in your work
  • Pragmatic, flexible and able to cope with (changing) priorities
  • Weekend work and a shift system do not scare you off
