Senior iOS & Android Developer - 4411

At 4411, we are committed to making parking a hassle-free experience for all car users. With over 3 million registered users, 4411 is the largest parking application in Belgium. Our app allows you to pay for your parking session easily and remotely, by the minute. In addition to street parking, we also offer parking in garages, purchase of De Lijn and NMBS tickets, and charging of electric vehicles.

We are constantly working on new and exciting features to further support our community. To achieve our goals and continue to grow, we are looking for an iOS & Android Developer!

As an iOS & Android developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding the current 4411 app (both iOS & Android). The Android app is almost entirely written in Kotlin (2% Java) and follows the best practices defined by Google. We have started transitioning to Jetpack Compose, with many screens already rewritten. The iOS app is almost entirely written in Swift (6.9% Obj-C) and follows the best practices defined by Apple. A part of it has already been rewritten. You will be co-responsible for maintaining our >99.7% “crash-free rate” and our +4.5/5 store ratings, which we are very proud of!

What do we expect from you?

• You have at least 3 years of experience with native Android and iOS development
• You have experience with git
• You are a true front-ender: you get excited about a beautiful UI and actively think about the UX while striving for a smooth user experience.
• Clean code principles make you happy
• You get excited about new techniques and features within Android and iOS
• You have experience with CI/CD. You have knowledge of MVVM and MVC
• Nice to have: You have experience with the following frameworks and tools: Room, Firebase, Retrofit, Jetpack Compose, Figma, Rive
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
